In the Spring of 2022 PB&G (Property, Buildings & Grounds committee) took on the task to totally renovate the manse that was built in the ‘50s.   Among the things that were done was all new carpeting upstairs.  The upstairs bath was totally renovated. Every room was painted. Garage was spray painted too.  A huge tree was removed.  A bucket truck was rented/burrowed for the task. After the tree was removed, the sidewalk was replaced.   Flooring company was hired to replace all floors. The basement we did ourselves.

Then the main part.  The kitchen!  Total renovation down to the studs.  New ceiling & under counter lighting installed. We even added a pot filler to the stove, sink disposal installed. Centralized the WIFI hookup.  Ceiling fans installed.  Air-conditioning updated by putting 3 wall units (or splits) on the first floor.  Some have heat capability to help give even heating/cooling throughout the house, besides being a backup, if the main unit ever needed service.

This required a lot of PB&G’s effort, but PB&G was extremely grateful to the many other volunteers that came to assist with various tasks, from professional installation of cabinets, painting, molding and trim work, to outside cleanups and more.  This truly was a church effort.
