We stand by Jesus’s words in scripture Matthew Chapter 25, Verse 31-46.
At Brick Presbyterian Church, we strive to make our community stronger by supporting and serving those who are in need. We take an inspirational approach to mission which in turn, leads to fulfilling God’s plan and will fill Jesus’s church because people want to be a part of something bigger than themselves, give meaning to their life and serve the Lord in a meaningful way.
We evangelize through the Memorial Day Parade, and other community events and advertisements. We will be looking into adopt-a-spot for future advertising purposes as well.
For mission, we have recently provided and set up two solar generators to the homeless community of Destiny’s Bridge to assist those who use oxygen tanks, providing them a constant source of electricity to run the machines. It also provides additional power needs for the community and helps keep the cost down on propane and gasoline. We would like to do so much more to improve the lives of those whom are marginalized and experiencing poverty in our community. Our future plans for mission include continued outreach to the homeless population in our area by providing hot meals and showers and a code blue center at our church campus.
Our ultimate goal is to make a difference in people’s lives and futures with the help and love of Jesus Christ our Lord.
