The preface to the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship states that “worship is at the very heart of the church’s life…The community of faith, gathered in response to God’s call, is formed in its worship.” The mission of the BPC Music Ministry is to enhance the worship experience for our congregants by offering leadership in the singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Singing as a vital and ancient form of prayer engages the whole person, and helps to unite the body of Christ in their common worship. Special songs, anthems, and instrumental music are offered to God and help to interpret the Word and enhance prayer.
Chancel Choir (Adult Choir)
The adult choir rehearses every Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the choir room. We sing a wide variety of choral music. We lead in worship on the first Sunday of every month, Holidays and have special musical events through out the year.

Bell Choir
This multi generational bell choir rehearses every Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. It enjoys playing a wide variety of music and leads in Worship on the second Sunday of the month as well as ringing for special musical events during the year. Members with varied musical experiences and abilities are always welcome!
Praise Team
Soloists
BPC offers the opportunity for accomplished singers and instrumentalists to share their music in worship through out the summer worship season as well as on selected Sundays through out the year. Music of multiple appropriate genres is acceptable. Any interested vocalists should contact Ed Murphy.
Junior Praise Team
BPC Jr. Praise Team features all of the children of the Sunday School from pre K through High School. We sing contemporary Christian Music and lead in worship for Family Sunday on the third Sunday of the month. We also participate in special youth events through out the year including Youth Sunday, Confirmation and Youth Recognition Sunday. Practice is every Sunday at 10:00 AM in the music room under the leadership of Kathy Kraynick, Mike Slater, and Sofia Thalheimer. For more information contact Kathy Kraynick.
