We are a small group of women who through our fellowship of sewing and quilting seek to bring Christ’s comfort, love, and joy to others through what we make. Our group is currently making quilts for shut-ins and hospice patients. We also make teddy bears, pillow case dresses, and other mission-related sewing items.
Quilters meet on Saturday mornings from 10:00am – noon in classroom one. Anyone looking for an enjoyable morning of fellowship and quilting is invited to join us.
Bears On a Mission
This is a Mission Project to bring joy to young children and young foster children at area hospitals. If you choose to accept this mission, all you have to do is make a bear or another animal and place it in the basket marked Bears on a Mission. There are other friendly animals for you to knit and a turtle named Homer to crochet. If you would like to make one of these animals, please contact Lori Evans for the instructions. Have fun making these animals to bring joy and giggles to young children!
Prayer Squares
Attention those who crochet or knit. The Faithful Remnants need help in making prayer squares. Directions are in the Narthex. Lori Evans can give you either the knitted directions or the crochet version. Squares are given to shut ins and anyone who needs prayer.
